Our Facilities at Barker Bay Resort & Outposts

We are located in Barker Bay on the southwest end of Lower Manitou Lake. Since we are the only resort in the Bay and only share the whole of the Lower Manitou with only one other camp, quiet, solitude and nature are just right out the front door.
Quiet, relaxing and a great view is just another added feature to our clean, modern cabins. These year round cabins are all equipped with 3 piece baths, electricity, propane refrigerators and stoves. For heat in the winter or those cool spring and fall evenings, we have wood burning stoves backed up by propane heaters. Cooking, eating utensils, pots and pans, a BBQ and bed linens are provided. Bath towels are not included at this time.
We have a sandy beach and it is available for some sun worshiping, book reading or just relaxing by the shore.
Every year we put up lake ice to have on hand for the upcoming season. If you would like to see how this is done I am sure we could arrange a stay during that time that would also include some winter fishing!
(Preparing the ice, ice is removed and then it is stored in an ice house.)
