Winter is not the time to hibernate. Barker Bay Resort is year-round camp and a haven for snowmobiling and ice fishing. Canada offers miles and miles of groomed trails and we are located on the Fort Frances-Dryden TOPS snowmobile trail #D116A. These trails will give you access to some of the most picturesque views of rock formations, beautiful Canadian forest wilderness and countless lakes.
Ice fishing is unique and something everyone should experience.
On Lower Manitou we have heated fish houses that are available and we position them over those Lake Trout hot-spots!
Wintertime and snowmobiles give you the freedom to access many remote lakes for some new fishing experiences and picturesque rides.
Winter lodging is available upon request. We offer clean, modern cabins. Our year-round cabins are equipped with propane stoves, refrigerators, and wood heat. Cooking utensils and bed linens provided, however bath towels are not included.
